Visualcom and Fusion win AADC award for Murals at Adelaide Airport Departure Lounge

Last year visualcom produced 42 window graphics for Adelaide Airport Ltd, Arts SA and Fusion for Adelaide Airport's new terminal. The graphics needed to be viewed from both sides with total opacity and have a transparent area to highlight South Australian icons. In this world first, visualcom developed the manufacturing processes required to make this job possible.

First flatbed in SA with white ink

Visualcom have invested in the future of the industry, with a new Durst Rho 600. Capable of printing on flat and roll media up to 2m wide and 40mm thick. This is the only printer in South Australia capable of printing onto a door!!!

In addition to the printers amazing abilities it also has the option of white ink. This makes it possible to print directly onto coloured stock, a first for digital printing in SA.
